    About Fastnet Line

Fastnet Line offers the most direct ferry route between the UK and the South-West of Ireland with the service between Swansea & Cork saving 600 road kilometres on a round trip.

With space for approximately 30 trucks the service is operated by M/V Julia with three round trip departures each week plus an additional rotation during the peak summer period. Sailing times are subject to tidal variations with departures from Swansea on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Departures from Cork are on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The extra rotation in the peak tourist season sees a departure from Swansea on a Sunday morning and a return sailing from Cork on Sunday evenings.

The crossing time between Swansea and Cork is 12 hours.
