Vans - Do I need to travel as freight?
With Norfolkline, all private use vans exceeding 6m in length must be booked as freight. If commercial goods are being carried you must book as freight, regardless of the length. If your van is under 6m and you are not carrying commercial goods, please visit our passenger website's Norfolkline page

Feb 2012 see's the launch of DFDS Seaways new route between Dover & Calais.
Norfolkline Irish Sea Routes between Liverpool and Heysham to Belfast have been taken over by Stena Line with effect from the 26th September 2011.
