About Transeuropa Ferries
Transeuropa Ferries has been operating a freight ferry service between the Kent port of Ramsgate and Ostende in West Flanders, Belgium since 1998 and offers an alternative to the busier and often more congested routes serving Dover.
Ramsgate port is well connected to the M2 motorway via the largely dualled A299 Thanet Way. The port at Ostend is located just 200 metres from the A10/E40 motorway.
There are up to eight dedicated freight sailings per day and the crossing time between Ramsgate & Ostend is 4 hours.
