Vans - Do I need to travel as freight?
With Unity Line, all private use vans exceeding 3.5 tons must be booked as freight. If the vehicle is being used for commercial purposes you must book as freight, regardless of the van type. Unity Line is a Polish operator providing passenger, freight and train ferry services between Świnoujście in Poland and the Swedish ports of Ystad & Trelleborg. Offering reliability and a convenient timetable, Unity Line transports 70% of the traffic on the Baltic Sea, serving almost 53% of lorry transport.
The fleet comprises of seven vessels, five of which are primarily used for the carriage of freight, both road vehicles and railway wagons. The two passenger vessels, m/f Polonia and m/f Skania can also take a considerable amount of freight.
