The Port of Gdansk is Poland's principal seaport and one of of the largest seaports on the Baltic Sea. It is located in north central Poland at the mouth of the Motlawa River on the southern shores of Gdansk Bay. The Port of Gdansk is about nine nautical miles southeast of the Port of Gdynia.
The terminal is managed by the Polish Baltic Shipping Company (operating under the name of Polferries). Polferries offer a daily passenger and freight service connecting Gdansk to Nynäshamn in Sweden. Nynäshamn is about an hour's drive away from Stockholm.
